IRON 250 LS EDDHSA
PLANTIN IRON 250 LS is a liquid EDDHSA iron chelate that can be used in organic farming1 specifically designed to prevent and cure iron deficiencies that are frequent and accentuated by climatic phenomena. These deficiencies cause iron chlorosis, which manifests itself in internal yellowing of the young leaves until discoloration.
Iron is essential for the enzyme system in plant metabolism (photosynthesis, respiration and protein development). It is necessary for the reduction of nitrate and sulphate, and important for photosynthesis and maintenance of chlorophyll in plants.
PLANTIN IRON 250 LS avoids serious consequences on the performance and quality of production. Its chelated EDDHSA shape is extremely stable especially with high pH and protects iron molecules from oxidation. The ORTHO-ORTHO form is longer resistant to degradation caused by high soil pH and high levels of active calcium. Compared to the EDDHA form of iron, it is more available for the plant. PLANTIN IRON 250 LS provides rapid and systemic action optimizing the photosynthetic functioning of the plant. It guarantees a fast-paced greening effect thanks to its highly assimilable shape. It can be used as a preventive or curative as soon as symptoms appear.
The liquid formulation of the chelate PLANTIN IRON 250 LS facilitates its use and optimizes an effective fight against iron chlorosis, it is recommended in hydroponics.
